Divine Mercy Chaplet は、傷ついた世界のために、神の無限のあわれみを求め、とりなし祈るものです。この祈りは、ポーランドの修道女であった Sr. Faustina Kowalska（1905-1938）の日記にもとづいたもので、1930年代に人々の間に広まりました。Sr. Faustina は 2000年に「聖人」とされました。
Divine Mercy Chaplet は chaplet（ビーズの輪）という言葉が示すように、50個のビーズが10個づつ別のビーズで区切られたビーズの輪を使って祈ります。区切りのビーズで
Eternal Father, I offer You the Body and Blood, Soul and Divinity of Your dearly beloved Son, Our Lord Jesus Christ, / in atonement for our sins and those of the whole world.と祈り、それに続くビーズで
とこしえの父よ、あなたの愛してやまない御子、私たちの主イエス・キリストのからだと血、たましいと神性をあなたにささげます。/ 御子は、私たちの罪と世界のすべての人のためにあがないとなられました。
For the sake of His sorrowful Passion, / have mercy on us and on the whole world. Sing of the Cross.を10回繰り返し祈ります。従って、"Eternal Father..." を5回、"For the sake of..." を50回祈ることになります。グループで祈るときは、リーダーが "/" で区切られた前半を祈り、他のメンバーが後半を祈ります。
主の悲しみに満ちたご受難のゆえに、/ 私たちと世界のすべての人をあわれんでください。
50回の "For the sake of..." が終わったら、次の頌栄を3回繰り返します。
Holy God, Holy Mighty One, Holy Immortal One, have mercy on us and on the whole world.
聖なる神、聖にして力あるお方、きよく朽ちないお方よ、私たちと世界のすべての人々をあわれんでください。
